What does a Convenience Store Manager do?

A Store Manager at Greens Retail oversees the management and operation of their store. We seek exceptional individuals who thrive on challenges and aim to deliver one of the best convenience stores in the country. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing a strong team to ensure excellent customer service
• Creating a positive working environment
• Building relationships within the local community and hosting events
• Managing daily store operations to uphold high standards
• Recruiting, mentoring, training staff, and planning shifts
• Driving store performance and future growth, meeting KPIs, and preparing for the future
• Maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and compliance with health & safety regulations

Managers are expected to work at least 40 hours per week over 5 days, including evenings and weekends, with flexibility to accommodate store needs. The role is based in Banchory, with occasional support required at other stores within a 25-mile radius. A valid UK driving license and personal vehicle are essential; travel mileage will be reimbursed.

What do I need?

• Experience in Food Retail (preferred)
