Job summary

Tesco Shift Lead in the United Kingdom is a frontline leadership role within our stores. You’ll guide teams to deliver a great in-store experience, coordinate across departments and ensure smooth daily operations, while staying customer focused and adaptable.

We offer a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week with flexible shifts, competitive hourly pay starting at £15.59 and rising to £16.86 in M25 stores, plus benefits like holiday, discounts and retirement schemes.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old
• Experience in team lead or management in fast-paced retail
• Strong customer service orientation
• Clear communicator and natural leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver a great in-store experience for customers
• Work across all store areas and be the go-to for daily operations queries
• Build positive, inclusive relationships to support team performance
• Lead the store in the Manager’s absence with balanced, flexible decisions
• Coach colleagues, give feedback and role model great service
• Seek opportunities to serve customers and communities
