Job summary

Mitie Group plc seeks an on-site Security Officer in Sefton to protect client property and assets, meeting KPIs and ensuring a high standard of service. You will follow Assignment Instructions (AI's) and maintain a professional approach on site.

Responsibilities include compliance with UK law, timely incident reporting, and maintenance of required licences (SIA front-line and CCTV where applicable). The role requires ongoing training and vigilance to support client risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in security on-site or guarding roles.
• Front-line SIA licence required; CCTV licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Protect assets and property by following Assignment Instructions and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with UK law and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Complete all site tasks as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
• Renew licencing 16 weeks before expiry and maintain required training.
• Document incidents with accurate notebook entries for incident reporting.
