Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a security professional to protect client properties in accordance with Assignment Instructions and UK law. The role requires compliance with site policies, on-site duties, and ongoing licence maintenance while supporting incident response and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates will have prior security experience, a valid SIA licence, and may hold or desire SC clearance.

Qualifications

Previous security experience required.
SIA licence required for front-line duties.
SC clearance desirable as preferred eligibility.

Responsibilities

Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies and legal requirements as directed; operate per Assignment Instructions (AIs) and UK law.
Complete all site tasks defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
Review AI changes and suggest amendments to improve service quality.
Maintain required licences (front-line SIA security licence or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence at all times.
Follow safety and incident reporting procedures; perform incident notebooks timely.
Keep to schedules, demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client; complete check calls in the allocated slots.
Call emergency services and the Communications Centre to report incidents.
