Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is hiring a Retail Security Officer to deter crime, report incidents, and work with local authorities. The role requires a valid SIA licence and strong customer-facing communication. Full training will be provided, and you will operate in a store environment with shift patterns and 42 hours per week.

The position emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and collaboration with management and security teams to protect people and assets.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence is required.
• Experience in a retail security role is advantageous.
• Ability to maintain professional conduct and de-escalate conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and proactively minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities as needed.
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Conduct colleague and contractor searches per policy.
• Use tablets/phones for daily activity planning and reporting.
• Provide clear verbal and written accounts of incidents.
