Job summary

B&M Retail in Bradford is looking for a confident Retail Security Officer to safeguard people, products and store environment while delivering a welcoming customer experience. This full-time, permanent role covers daytime, evening and weekend shifts, offering variety, responsibility and a key part of the store team.

You’ll monitor the store, operate CCTV, enforce safety procedures, investigate stock loss, theft and fraud, and engage with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and

Qualifications

• Ability to follow procedures and remain composed in challenging situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence handling difficult conversations in a professional manner.
• Sound judgement, honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• A supportive team player who takes pride in doing the right thing.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
• Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies
• Supporting the enforcement of Health & Safety procedures
• Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft and fraud
• Engaging with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively
