Carlisle Support Services is seeking Relief Retail Security officers to cover holidays and sickness across locations in the Wigan and Greater Manchester area. You will join a team, provide a visible security presence and support prestigious clients with full training and ongoing development.

The role offers varied hours including early and late shifts, with a typical pay rate of £14.65 per hour and opportunities for career progression within a growing brand.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in front-line licensable activity.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional demeanor.
• Experience in security or a customer-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide reassurance for all.
• Provide a smart, visible security presence and deterrent.
• Effective conflict management and incident control.
• Control access and egress; conduct security patrols.
• Interact with the public in a proactive, professional manner.
• Be aware of hazards and incidents and respond appropriately.
• Provide guidance, information and direct customers as first contact.
• Follow safety and security processes and procedures.
• Work as part of a team and build strong relationships.
