Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking Relief Retail Security officers to support Tesco and other clients across North Wales. Full induction and ongoing training are provided, with hours that suit personal availability.

A competitive hourly rate is paid monthly and benefits include a pension and health plans. Typical shifts run from early morning to late evening, with a mix of 6am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and some midnight finishes.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old – legal requirement to work in a front-line licensable activity.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a visible security presence.
• Deterrent security presence and proactive engagement.
• Effective conflict management and incident control.
• Control access and egress; conduct security patrols.
• Interact positively with the public and provide guidance as needed.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures and collaborate with the team.
