Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer for the Waitrose site in Wantage. You will protect people and assets while delivering excellent customer service. Comprehensive training, including MAYBO, and a company-funded SIA licence renewal, are provided.

You will be supported by the NOC and equipped with body worn cameras and reporting devices to log incidents efficiently. The role requires prior security experience, a valid SIA licence, and outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and legal requirements as directed by Security Account Manager and UK law.
• Utilise NOC and Mitie-provided technology (body cams, incident reporting) for accurate reporting.
• Complete all tasks on site as defined in Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Review and update procedures to improve service delivery.
• Renew front-line licensing before expiry and comply with industry requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and colleagues, and report hazards.
