Job summary

ASEL Security Officer role based in Maltby, Rotherham, offering 12-hour shifts (1500-2100) with a £12.75 hourly rate. You will deter crime, respond to incidents, and prepare detailed incident reports while patrolling the store and coordinating with local authorities.

Ideal candidates hold a valid SIA licence and can provide a five-year checkable work/education history, plus right-to-work documents. Training is provided with clear paths for progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not essential and full training provided.
• Must provide a five-year checkable work or education history.
• Bring right to work documents and a recent proof of address to the interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible deterrent and respond to incidents.
• Complete incident reports and liaise with local authorities.
• Carry out guarding duties in-store.
• Patrol shop floor, identify vulnerabilities and minimise risk.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones and produce legible reports.
