Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Glasgow to provide a visible deterrence, respond to incidents, and complete incident reports while collaborating with local authorities and management. You will patrol the shop floor, deter crime, and assess vulnerabilities to minimise risk.

A valid SIA license is required; full training is provided. Applicants must have a 5-year checkable history and right-to-work documents ready for interview.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
• Previous experience in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
• Applicants must be able to provide a full 5-year checkable history.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity.
• Assessing and identifying vulnerabilities, and working to minimise risk.
• Liaising with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Managing vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
• Carrying out colleague and contractor searches as required.
• Digitally reporting incidents and using tablets/phones for daily planning.
• Providing detailed and legible incident reports to assist the Client and Local Authorities.
