Job summary

ASEL is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Bristol to deter crime, protect customers, and provide visible security presence in-store. You will respond to incidents, complete reports, and collaborate with local authorities as needed.

A valid SIA licence and the ability to work varied shifts are essential. Applicants should be prepared for training and must provide 5 years of work/back-to-school history, plus right-to-work documents.

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not required as training is provided.
• Five-year checkable work history and right to work documents are required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Identify vulnerabilities and minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Handle vulnerable individuals with empathy and professionalism.
• Carry out incident reporting and digital records using mobile devices.
