BardWood is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a busy retail store in Clacton-on-Sea. The role involves safeguarding staff and visitors while ensuring smooth store operations.

You will patrol premises, monitor entry/exit points, and respond to emergencies. A valid SIA license and a strong work history are essential. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and be physically fit.

Qualifications

• SIA licence is required and must be valid.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Build positive customer relations while managing crowds.

About the role

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10

Location – Clacton-on-Sea ( CO15 )

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
