BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a well-known Stratford-upon-Avon store to safeguard staff and visitors and maintain a safe shopping environment.

Join our team to patrol premises, assist customers, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents using theft-detecting devices. This full-time role offers transfer to our client after 12 weeks with extensive benefits on transfer.

Qualifications

• SIA license required.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Handing out baskets.
• Greeting customers and helping staff.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations during busy periods.

About the role

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Title - Retail security officer

Pay Rate - £13.96

Location - Stratford upon Avon

Shift Timings - Full time, Tuesday to Saturday, 09:30- 18:30

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Handing out baskets
• Greeting customers and helping staff
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
