Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to safeguard a busy retail store in the UK. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring entrances, responding to incidents and assisting customers while maintaining a secure environment.

The position is full-time (36 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of £12.71 per hour and a pathway to permanent transfer after 12 weeks, plus a range of employee benefits on transfer.

Qualifications

• SIA License required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
• Physically fit to undertake the tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigate disturbances and monitor entry/exit points.
• Confidently call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Deal effectively with large crowds and build positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Shift Timings – Fulltime 36 hours per week

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
