Kingdom Services Group - Retail Security Officer Opportunity

Kingdom Services Group is a key partner to Morrisons Supermarkets, offering a great opportunity for a Retail Security Officer to join our team.

The Retail Security Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and staff. Responsibilities include preventing theft, deterring criminal activity, and managing emergency or conflict situations. The role requires keen observational skills, quick decision-making abilities, and effective communication.

Location and Start Date

Where: Morrisons store in Penrith, CA11 area.

When: We’re looking to get the right person into the team with an immediate start!

Compensation and Hours

Salary: £12.21 per hour.

Hours: On average, hours per week, shifts as per site rota: 4 on 4 off, Monday to Saturday 12:00pm - 10:00pm & Sunday 10:00am - 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
• Providing a visible deterrent within the store
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Working as part of a team to fulfill customer requirements
• Dealing with difficult situations professionally and safely

About You

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional approach, good judgment, keen eye for detail
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential
• A valid SIA Licence or application in progress
• Full five-year checkable employment history
