Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer in Bishopbriggs (G64). You will patrol store premises, monitor entry/exit points, and promptly respond to disturbances, ensuring staff and customer safety with theft-deterrence devices.

Applicants should hold an SIA license, provide a 5-year career history, and demonstrate physical fitness and resilience under pressure. Full flexibility is required to meet client needs.

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake the tasks.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10 PH

Location – Bishopbriggs G64

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
