BardWood Support Services are recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a busy retail site at Abbeycentre Belfast. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring entries, and keeping staff and customers safe. You will be employed by BardWood and transfer to the client after 12 weeks.

The ideal candidate holds an SIA license, has a 5-year career history, is physically fit, and can perform under pressure. Shift pattern is full time 40 hours per week, with day shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• SIA license required.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in security roles is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Full-time availability on days and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations while managing large crowds.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – £13.58ph

Location – Abbeycentre Belfast

Shift Timings – Full time 40 hours per week- Must be flexible to work day shifts and weekends

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
