Job summary

DCK is seeking a Retail Sales Merchandiser for Newcastle, working 9 hours per week with a £12.71 per hour rate. You will visit stores within your zone, perform in-store merchandising, stock deliveries, and promotional setup, and travel to different stores as needed.

Ideal candidates have customer-facing experience, are comfortable with mobile apps, and can start soon. Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence are required. Hours are 9:00–17:00 on selected days.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the operating systems of either Android 8.1 or later OR Apple IOS is 13.4 or later

Role Title - Retail Sales Merchandiser - Newcastle - 9 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift pattern - 3 Tuesday, 3 Thursday & 3 Friday

Working hours: The required start time for this role is between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Newcastle but may be required to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

Please note - The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.
