Job summary

DCK Group in Bangor is seeking a Retail Sales Merchandiser for an 8.5 hour-per-week temporary role. You will be based in Bangor and may travel to nearby stores within your zone. The role requires a friendly, professional attitude and comfort with using apps used in-store.

Responsibilities include merchandising to brand guidelines, stocking deliveries, keeping the store tidy, and coordinating promotional activity to boost sales. Start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing setting is required.
• Sales and/or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to an Apple or Android smartphone with up-to-date OS is required.
• Flexible with shift pattern including start times between 9:00am and 10:00am.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to visual merchandising guidelines.
• Put out deliveries of new stock.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in-store.
• Set up promotional activities.
• Work with host management teams to build relationships and drive sales.

Job description

Role Title - Retail Sales Merchandiser- Bangor - 8.5 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift pattern - 2.5 Monday, 2.5 Wednesday & 3.5 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is between 9:00am and 10:00am

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Bangor butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• Putting out deliveries of new stock

• Maintaining housekeeping standards

• Setting up promotional activities

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Please note - The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
