Job summary

JOBS247 INC LTD in Stroud is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant - Keyholder to deliver a friendly, knowledgeable customer experience across the store. You will work across different areas, handling deliveries and moving stock while supporting with cash handling and security as a Keyholder.

This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to learn, grow and take on additional responsibilities within a busy retail environment in Stroud.

• Experience in retail or customer service; hospitality helpful but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and engage to create an amazing customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Train as a Keyholder and take on additional responsibilities.
• Operate tills and handle transactions.
• Maintain store standards, merchandising, cleanliness and stock replenishment.
• Open and close the store securely (where applicable) and assist with cash handling.
• Support deliveries, stockroom organisation and product availability.
• Be reliable, punctual and handle a variety of shifts.

Job description

As a Retail Sales Assistant - Keyholder, you will deliver a friendly, knowledgeable and consistently amazing customer experience.

This is an active role that involves working across different areas of the store, using stairs, handling deliveries and moving stock.

What you'll own

• If you’re aged 18 or over, you’ll be trained as a Keyholder, with all the support you need to take on additional responsibility and build valuable experience
• Operate tills accurately and handle transactions with care
• Maintain excellent store standards, including merchandising, cleanliness and stock replenishment
• As a Keyholder, if applicable, you’ll open and close the store securely and support with cash handling and store security
• Support with deliveries, stockroom organisation and product availability

Role details

• Hours: We’re open to conversations about working hours and flexible working and, where possible, we’ll try to support this
• You’re reliable, punctual and able to work a variety of shifts

What you'll bring

• You’ll need previous experience in retail, customer service or hospitality would be helpful, but it isn’t essential - what matters most is your willingness to learn and get involved to create an amazing customer experience
