Job summary

poltronesofà is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Advisor for our Straiton (Edinburgh) store. You will welcome customers, help them choose furniture, and deliver an outstanding customer experience across the purchase journey.

The role is 24 hours over 3 days with a competitive hourly rate (£10.85–£12.71) and a path to commission. Previous furniture sales experience isn’t required as training will be provided.

• Able to work evenings/weekends as part of shifts.
• No furniture sales experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the store and help them find furniture.
• Complete customer orders and process finance applications.
• Work towards sales goals while delivering five-star service.
• Maintain showrooms with housekeeping and furniture movement.
• Contribute to a warm, safe showroom environment.
• Develop knowledge of poltronesofà products.
• Undertake other duties as required.

As part of our Retail team, you’ll welcome customers into our Straiton store, help them find the perfect furniture for their home, and deliver a fantastic customer experience from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for people with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service. Offering Part-time hours designed to fit around study, family life, or other commitments

This role is for 24 hours per week across 3 days.

What does the role involve?

• Welcome customers into the store and support them in finding the perfect piece of furniture for their home
• Accurately complete customer orders and process finance applications
• Work towards individual sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service
• Work within the team to deliver a 5 star customer experience
• Make sure the showrooms look their best through general housekeeping, cleaning and moving furniture when it’s needed
• Help to make sure our showrooms are warm, friendly, safe environments for everyone within them
• Continuously develop and maintain knowledge on all poltronesofà products and services
• Undertake, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the role
