Job summary

Poltronesofà Straiton in Edinburgh is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Advisor for a 24-hour per week, part-time role. You will welcome customers, help them select furniture, and process orders and finance applications with confidence. The position offers strong earning potential through commission and a supportive team environment.

You don’t need previous furniture sales experience; we’ll train you. The role suits someone who enjoys working with people, is flexible with shifts, and wants to grow

Compensation: £10.85 - £12.71 / hour

Looking for a part-time role that works around your life — while offering excellent earning potential?

As part of our Retail team, you’ll welcome customers into our Straiton store, help them find the perfect furniture for their home, and deliver a fantastic customer experience from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for people with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service. Offering Part-time hours designed to fit around study, family life, or other commitments

This role is for 24 hours per week across 3 days.

What does the role involve?

• Welcome customers into the store and support them in finding the perfect piece of furniture for their home
• Accurately complete customer orders and process finance applications
• Work towards individual sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service
• Work within the team to deliver a 5 star customer experience
• Make sure the showrooms look their best through general housekeeping, cleaning and moving furniture when it’s needed
• Help to make sure our showrooms are warm, friendly, safe environments for everyone within them
• Continuously develop and maintain knowledge on all poltronesofà products and services
• Undertake, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the role
