Job summary

Liverpool FC in Chester is seeking a Retail Sales Advisor to join our store team. You will handle customer sales and refunds, process payments at the till, and build product knowledge to advise shoppers, while upselling where appropriate.

The role is permanent, 8 hours per week across 5 from 7 days, based at Chester Store. We offer benefits including a contributory pension, life cover, staff discounts, and access to our LFC perks and programs.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Retail Sales Advisor at our Chester Store. We’re looking for passionate, customer-focused individuals who love working as part of a team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our in‑store experience, ensuring every visitor enjoys the highest possible standard of service and leaves feeling part of the LFC family.

What will you be doing?

• Dealing with customer sales and refunds, ensuring a focus on customer care and the customer experience.
• Till work including processing cash and card payments.
• Gaining and building upon Product knowledge to provide advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
• Basic Sales Management through driving the AVS, UPT and Conversion by offering add on sales and upselling.
• Merchandising/display.
• Stock shrinkage and cash flow controls.
• Supporting in receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful, you must have recent retail store and customer service experience in a customer facing role and can demonstrate this important skill set, with excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Having strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will be confident in delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team. A retail and/or customer service qualifications would be advantageous. You will be able to work flexible hours.
