Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service and maintain a major UK supermarket estate. You will handle planned and reactive work across multiple stores, including CO₂ systems, with a structured on-call rota and clear earnings.

The role offers a permanent contract, a basic salary with a strong OTE, private healthcare, pension, and a company vehicle with tools and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1) is required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites.
• Working with CO₂ refrigeration pack systems.
• Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement where required.
• Completing PPMs, reactive work and repairs during planned store visits.
• Carrying out small alterations and installations within your competence.
