Job summary

City Facilities Management seeks an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to maintain and service a major supermarket estate across Staffordshire and Derbyshire. This permanent role offers a defined patch within a well-run contract.

You’ll perform planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance on CO₂ systems, diagnose faults, complete PPMs, and carry out installations within your competence. Benefits include a company vehicle, private healthcare, 33 days holiday and pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites.
• Working with CO₂ refrigeration pack systems.
• Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement where required.
• Completing PPMs, reactive work and repairs during planned store visits.
• Carrying out small alterations and installations within your competence.
