Job summary

City FM in Liverpool is recruiting an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service a major UK supermarket estate. You will perform planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance on CO₂ systems across multiple stores and contribute to a well‑structured, predictable service operation.

You will work a 40‑hour week with on‑call duties and a clear earnings structure, including an OTE around £60k and a joining bonus.

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ/SVQ 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Essential: F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1).
• Essential: Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites.
• Working with CO₂ refrigeration pack systems.
• Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement where required.
• Completing PPMs, reactive work and repairs during planned store visits.
• Carrying out small alterations and installations within your competence.
