Job summary

David Clulow Opticians is seeking an Optical Assistant to deliver premium customer service in a luxury retail environment in the UK. You will welcome customers, understand needs and guide them through designer frames and lenses, with support for fittings, adjustments and eyewear care.

You will assist in high-quality eye care, support pre-screening and optical processes using advanced testing technologies, and help maintain refined store standards and administration.

Qualifications

• No optical experience required.
• Confident, warm communicator with good attention to detail.
• Interest in fashion, luxury eyewear and customer service.

What you’ll do

This is a hands‑on, people-focused role where premium service really matters:

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience – welcome customers, understand their needs and guide them through our carefully curated selection of designer frames and lenses.
• Support fittings and adjustments – learn how to fit, adjust and care for luxury eyewear, ensuring every customer leaves perfectly satisfied.
• Assist in high-quality eye care – support pre‑screening and optical processes using advanced testing technologies.
• Maintain impeccable standards – support daily store operations, visual standards and administration in a refined retail environment.
