Retail Merchandiser Role - PE14 Area

We're seeking a Retail Merchandiser based in the PE14 area to join our field-based retail merchandising team. The primary focus will be within The Entertainer concession at Tesco, with potential opportunities across other categories such as Books and Entertainment, Health and Beauty.

Your responsibilities include setting up fixtures effectively, displaying products and promotions attractively, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This position is primarily based at Tesco Wisbech.

Confirmed working hours: Tuesday 08:00 - 13:30, Saturday 09:00 - 14:30, with additional ad hoc work as agreed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expertise at The Entertainer: Know the brand and products thoroughly and share your knowledge with your team.
2. Compliance and Standards: Follow merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines. Implement planograms to ensure consistency.
3. Product Placement and Replenishment: Organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
4. Promotional Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage effectively.
5. Communication: Build relationships with store colleagues and provide feedback via our application.

What makes you excellent:

• Experience or passion for merchandising, retail, or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently within set time frames.
• Pride in delivering high standards and service.
• Comfort with manual handling and moving stock.
• Willingness to accept home deliveries of stock or POS items (additional pay).
• Comfortable using a company tablet for tasks.
• Full UK driving license and access to a car are advantageous.
