Overview

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

At eXPD8, we’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the L21 8NZ area. You’ll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Role location and hours

Role based across Tesco Litherland stores. This role will be work across a variety of categories including: Toys.

Confirmed working days/hours: 4 — Sunday 12:00-16:00. Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed.

Responsibilities

• Compliance and Standards: Follow merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
• Planograms: Follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building: Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• Feedback: Provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra)
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus
