Job summary

eXPD8 is seeking a Retail Merchandiser based in Sainsburys Rustington (BN16 3RT) to join our field-based merchandising team supporting household name brands. You will help ensure eye-catching displays and well-stocked shelves across multiple stores.

The role covers various categories including general merchandising such as books, gift cards and cosmetics, with varied weekly hours and occasional driving to deliver POS. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently within set time frames.
• Pride in delivering high standards and service for clients.
• Comfortable with manual handling and moving stock.
• Willing to accept home deliveries of POS or stock items.

Job description

If so at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Sainsburys Rustington in the BN16 3RT area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role will be work across a variety of categories including: General merchandising which could include books, gift cards and cosmetics.

Confirmed working days/hours: 2 hours a week.

Monday or Tuesday - Covering Gift Cards.

• Core hour 1 hour per week with Ad Hoc work varying from 15 mins to 5 hours depending on client activity.
• There is also a need for 1 hour every 3 weeks in Tesco Exp Rustington.
• A driver will be required to occasionally deliver POS.
• Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

How you'll deliver excellence:

• Compliance and Standards
• You’ll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• You’ll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment
• You’ll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
• You’ll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.

• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling! You'll need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• Are willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you'll be paid extra to do so)
• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required
