Job summary

eXPD8 is seeking a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Ryde 2 in the PO33 1QS area. You'll join a field-based merchandising team, ensuring fixtures are set, products and promotions displayed attractively, and shelves well-stocked.

This role starts for a new client with induction provided; you'll work 4 hours on Wednesdays (ad hoc work also available) and may be asked for additional shifts as agreed.

Qualifications

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling; move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures and ensure products and promotions are displayed attractively.
• Stock shelves and replenish as needed to maintain visibility.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices and offers.
• Build and maintain good relationships with store colleagues and managers.
• Provide accurate feedback to client account teams via the feedback app.

If so, at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Ryde 2 in the PO33 1QS area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

• Confirmed working days/hours: 4 hours
• Wednesday - 4 hours completed any time before 5pm
• Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

This role is for a new client with work starting from 1st March 2026. You will be provided with a full induction beforehand.

How you'll deliver excellence:

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?, Strong communication and relationship building

• Compliance and Standards
• You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment
• You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
• You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required
