Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a practical Handyman/Handyperson to maintain several busy retail properties across Fife and surrounding areas. The role involves a broad range of general building and fabric maintenance, with mobility between sites using a company van and support from a central helpdesk.

Candidates should be hands-on with plumbing, flooring, decorating, roofing or general repairs. A City & Guilds/NVQ would help, but practical experience is equally valued for this permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and fabric repairs across retail sites.
• Proof of practical fault-finding and repair skills is valued.
• City & Guilds/NVQ or similar qualifications are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reactive repairs and planned maintenance across multiple retail locations.
• Basic plumbing tasks (taps, toilets, sinks).
• Carpentry, joinery, tiling and decorating tasks as needed.
• Site safety and working with a central helpdesk and maintenance team.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment; update PDA/workflow records.
