Job summary

City is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support multiple store locations across the UK. You will perform a wide range of building fabric repairs and handle minor PPMs to keep stores safe and operational.

Ideal candidates will have an NVQ/City & Guilds in a relevant trade, a full UK driving licence, and strong health & safety knowledge. A mobile role requiring clear communication with store management.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds in a relevant trade; multi-trade FM experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge.
• Capable of fabric and grounds repairs, including floors, walls, doors, fixtures.
• Proficient with iPads for logging tasks and accessing systems.
• Delivers work to a consistently high standard with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive company standards, values and behaviours- Represent City professionally and attend required training.
• Complete minor maintenance and fabric repairs across stores, delivering high‑quality work.
• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales and document accurately.
• Respond promptly to Helpdesk requests and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials to ensure readiness and safety.
• Provide clear support and communication across allocated stores with regular visit updates.
