Job summary

Calibre Search is looking for a hands-on Handyman/Handyperson to maintain multiple busy retail properties across Fife and surrounding areas. You will be mobile between sites in a company van, performing general fabric maintenance, plumbing, joinery and decorating tasks.

You don’t need a formal trade qualification; practical experience is key, with City & Guilds/NVQ benefiting. A UK driving licence and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• The emphasis is on practical building maintenance, fabric repairs and basic plumbing.
• Experience across plumbing, joinery, flooring, decorating or general building repairs would be useful.
• A City & Guilds, NVQ or other relevant trade qualification would be beneficial, but practical experience is equally important.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance across multiple retail locations.
• Carrying out basic plumbing, joinery and decorating tasks.
• Assisting other trades when larger works are required.
• Completing PPM and reactive jobs and updating paperwork using a PDA.
