Job summary

Invision Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multiple fast-track refurbishment projects in London and surrounding areas. The role focuses on mechanical delivery across live environments, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings and schedules, and ensuring timely handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Project Manager, M&E Project Manager, or Mechanical Contracts Manager.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Experience in retail fit out, supermarket refurbishment, or fast-track projects.
• Experience working in live or operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple fast-track mechanical projects concurrently.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and mechanical design information.
• Producing and managing short-term programmes and project schedules.
• Coordinating mechanical subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Managing labour, materials and plant requirements.
• Attending client progress and coordination meetings.
• Liaising with main contractors, consultants and client representatives.
• Managing mechanical design queries and technical issues.
• Coordinating mechanical works with electrical, refrigeration and general fit-out packages.
• Reviewing RAMS and ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
• Managing site progress, quality and programme.
• Monitoring project costs alongside the commercial team.
• Managing variations and additional works.
• Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Supporting valuations and cost reporting.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning and snagging.
• Ensuring O&M information and handover documentation is completed.
• Managing projects through to practical completion and final handover
