Job summary

Peaple Talent are partnering with a leading fast-growing commercial space transformation specialist to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager to join their M&E division in Castleford.

You will take operational ownership of delivering fast-track mechanical projects in live retail environments, managing trades, on-site scheme phases, and ensuring project profitability from survey through to defect-free handover.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience delivering mechanical, HVAC, and building services projects.
• Experience delivering fast-track asset replacement schemes in live commercial or retail environments.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience running CVRs, managing margins, and overseeing sub-contractors.
• Active SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certifications.
• Qualification in Building Services or HVAC Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver mechanical projects across commercial retail sites.
• Lead on-site scheme phases, conduct site surveys, and participate in design meetings.
• Own project profitability with timely CVRs and defined budget margins.
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance, RAMS, and safety standards.
• Drive quality control to achieve defect-free handovers.
