Job summary

Momentum Instore is looking for a Retail Interventions Planner to join our busy team on a fixed-term basis. You will plan for interventions within trading stores, coordinating stores and contractors to land schemes on time and with minimum disruption to trade.

The role can be home-based but will require occasional countrywide travel. You will work with the Interventions Planning Manager and may need to commute to head office for training. Flexible hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Confident in senior-level client discussions and presentations.
• Able to plan and manage multiple interventions with stakeholders.
• Willing to travel nationwide and work from home or office as needed.
• Strong planning, organisational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate quality planning of projects and adherence to milestones with stakeholders.
• Produce clear Business Protection Plans & Phasing documents for interventions.
• Hold Engagement & Logistics Meetings to gain buy-in from stores and area managers.
• Develop understanding of live store operational processes and needs.
• Build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate scheduling/ordering accuracy to ensure timely delivery and avoid waste.
• Attend occasional site meetings to monitor progress and support implementation.
• Be an active, accountable member of the project team to drive quality.

What Does Your New Role Look Like?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy team on a fixed-term basis as a Retail Interventions Planner.

You will plan for the implementation of interventions within trading stores. Interventions can include; total refurbishments, dispensary improvements, trials, beauty hall reconfigurations, etc. The team work with the Stores and Contractors to ensure schemes are prepared to be landed effectively, on time, and with minimum disruption to stores and their ability to trade. This role can be home-based but will also require occasional countrywide travel, which will include staying away from home on occasions.

The role will be based at Momentum Instore, Loughborough,with the flexibility to work from home andoccasional travel to client sites is also required. Working hours Monday-Friday 09.00-17.30.The successful applicant must also be able to commute to Head Office in Macclesfield, for the first couple of weeks for initial training and induction.

We\'re looking for someone who can:

• Demonstrate the quality planning of projects and adherence to project milestones- to enable right first-time delivery - with a clear understanding of key stakeholder requirements; ensuring appropriate and timely escalation, where adherence is not achievable


• Produce clear, concise Business Protection Plans & Phasing documents for a variety of Interventions.


• Hold Engagement & Logistics Meetings to get the \"buy in\" from Store/Area Managers on the business plans.


• With the relevant training, develop an expert understanding of \"live\" store operational processes and needs.


• Build constructive two-way relationships with key stakeholders both internally & externally.


• Demonstrate accurate and detailed scheduling/ordering - enabling timely delivery and eliminating waste/excess of materials/resources.


• Occasional site meetings as required to monitor the progress of projects and support implementation


• Demonstrate supportive and interactive project team membership to drive quality performance of the project team as a whole - holding to account as required

• We want you to have outstanding operational delivery skills, with a proven track record in a services industry. You will be accountable for service delivery to some of the most important clients.


• You will need to be flexible and able to work from either home, head office or travel out to client sites. A Full UK driving licence is essential
