Job summary

IGD in the UK is seeking an Insight Analyst to generate retail insights and forecasts from market visits and industry contacts. You will deliver client-facing reports, support primary research, and contribute to IGD’s thought leadership in global food and consumer goods retailing.

The role offers hybrid working with travel to markets, and opportunities to collaborate with UK, supply chain, and global teams on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in grocery/consumer goods industry or strong interest.
• Experience with Excel datasets and forecasting.
• Ability to plan and manage own workload.
• Proven skill in presenting information to audiences, virtual or in person.
• Experience in writing online content/presentations/reports.

Responsibilities

• Produce best-in-class insights from market visits and industry contacts.
• Deliver reports on retail trends via IGD’s Retail Analysis platform.
• Create articles and track best practices for IGD reports.
• Support ongoing primary research with retailers and trade bodies.
• Present high-quality results to clients through webinars or sessions.
• Forecast retailer metrics using primary research data.
