Kick It Out is seeking a Retail Floor Manager for a new store in Birmingham. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high customer service standards, and collaborating with teams for an exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have significant retail management experience and strong communication skills.
The store design will take inspiration from our rich 150-year history incorporating cultural touchpoints from Villa Park whilst integrating a museum section that celebrates the Club’s deep-rooted connection to both Birmingham and football history.
The store will span 10,000 square feet across a ground and mezzanine floor which will showcase our full retail offering including our kits, training wear and a significant adidas collection.
We are now looking to build our team for the new store who will be responsible for creating a best-in-class customer experience which is inclusive and welcoming for all.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Floor Manager who will form a fundamental part of the management team in our new store. You will be responsible for managing one of the two floors in our new store with an oversight of all daily operations with a real focus on ensuring that our customers have a ‘best-in-class’ experience in store. In this role you will collaborate with all other teams to create exceptional store presentation, maintain high standards and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement.
You will need to have demonstrable experience as a floor/department manager in a fast-paced retail environment with a strong understanding of retail operations. We are looking for someone who has strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail. You will also need to have exceptional customer services skills with the ability to manage challenging situations, requests and enquiries professionally and effectively.
You must also be available to work flexibly as the Club requires, this will include evenings and weekends.
