Golf At Goodwood is inviting applications for a Retail Executive to lead day-to-day retail stock management, supplier liaison, and merchandising across our golf venues. You will ensure shops are well-presented, fully stocked and commercially successful while collaborating with colleagues to maximise sales.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organisation, and proactive problem-solving, with responsibilities spanning purchasing, stock control, events support, and reporting to drive retail performance.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in a busy customer-focused environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and retail systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing process from PO to stock receipt.
• Monitor stock levels and performance, keeping systems accurate.
• Support stock counts and stock control processes.
• Create engaging visual merchandising displays across multiple locations.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage delivery schedules.
• Be a point of contact for retail-related enquiries from customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Support monthly and annual retail reporting processes.
• Share product knowledge to drive retail performance.
• Collaborate with the Retail Manager to identify opportunities to boost sales and profitability.
• Support Golf At Goodwood team and events as required.

Love retail but want more than a shop floor role? Join our Golf At Goodwood team and play a key part in delivering an exceptional retail experience across our golf venues.

As our Retail Executive, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of retail stock, supplier relationships, merchandising and purchasing, ensuring our shops remain beautifully presented, fully stocked and commercially successful. You'll combine a keen eye for detail with strong organisational skills, analysing stock performance, coordinating orders and working closely with colleagues to maximise sales opportunities.

No two days are the same. From creating engaging retail displays and monitoring stock levels to supporting golf events and liaising with suppliers, you'll be at the heart of our retail operation.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the end-to-end purchasing process, from raising purchase orders through to stock receipt.


• Monitoring stock levels and performance, ensuring systems remain accurate and up to date.


• Supporting stock counts and stock control processes.


• Creating engaging visual merchandising displays across multiple retail locations.


• Building positive relationships with suppliers and managing delivery schedules.


• Acting as a key point of contact for retail-related customer, supplier and colleague enquiries.


• Supporting monthly and annual retail reporting processes.


• Sharing product knowledge with colleagues to help drive retail performance.


• Working closely with the Retail Manager to identify opportunities to enhance sales and profitability.


• Supporting the wider Golf At Goodwood team and golf events when required.
