Job summary

The Range in Torquay is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy store. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager to deliver outstanding customer experiences and maintain high store standards.

You will lead colleagues on the shop floor, coach and develop the team, ensure health & safety and compliance, and drive energetic performance across service, merchandising and stock control in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory, team leader or management experience.
• Excellent customer service mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and resolve queries.
• Lead by example, coach and develop colleagues on the shop floor.
• Ensure stock availability, merchandising and stock movement are well managed.
• Support opening and closing procedures and maintain store standards.
• Monitor health & safety compliance and security procedures.
