Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Retail Assistant in Woodbridge to ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will support merchandising, price tagging, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Contract runs from 26 October to 19 December 2026 with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, paid weekly. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high presentation standards.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A customer-first attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Previous retail or merchandising experience is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tidy and visually attractive product displays, following merchandising guidelines.
• Assist with unpacking deliveries, sorting stock, and ensuring items are accurately priced and tagged.
• Monitor stock levels, reporting low stock or replenishment needs to management.
• Ensure clothing areas are clean and presentable, contributing to a positive shopping experience.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational needs and achieve targets.
