Job summary

poltronesofà UK is seeking a Deputy Store Manager for our brand-new Tamworth store. You will support the Store Manager to deliver outstanding commercial performance, lead by example, and drive a five-star customer experience.

You’ll coach the team, manage day-to-day operations, recruit and onboard staff, and maximise sales through our uncapped commission scheme. This role offers progression and a strong benefits package.

Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Deputy Store Manager to join our Retail Sales team as we open our brand-new store in Tamworth. As a poltronesofà Deputy Store Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to deliver outstanding commercial performance and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store. You'll lead by example, inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer service, and confidently step into the Store Manager's role when required. Working closely with your team, you'll create a five-star customer experience while driving sales and achieving key performance targets. You'll coach and develop your colleagues, maintain high operational standards, and help every customer find the perfect products to create a home they love. As a Deputy Store Manager, you'll also benefit from our uncapped commission structure, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings as you and your team succeed. What does the role involve?

• Leading by example and role modelling the poltronesofà company values and behaviours to inspire the team to perform to be their best
• Continuously coaching to develop and improve colleagues’ performance by carrying out regular performance reviews
• Ensuring expert knowledge throughout the store team on poltronesofà Furniture, holding regular training sessions on all products and services
• Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, management and development of the team
• Being responsible for driving performance, delivering targets, KPIs and maximising sales opportunities in line with the store business plan and business priorities
• Supporting colleagues with customer orders and finance applications
• Delivering exceptional, market leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty, referrals and 5 star customer reviews
• Continuously identifying opportunities to make improvements which will optimise the operational running of the store
• Taking pride in your store and taking responsibility for maintaining its presentation to a high standard to ensure the store is set up for success
• Ensuring that all colleagues are accountable for branch audit, banking and finance checks
