Our retail department is the face of our business, engaging directly with customers to understand their needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure a seamless journey from consultation to installation. Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Retail Department Supervisor to lead and coordinate our retail operations. This role involves supervising a small team, engaging directly with customers, and overseeing projects from initial enquiry to final installation. The ideal candidate will be an energetic people-person with strong organisational skills and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the retail department.
• Lead and motivate the retail team to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
• Attend site visits and customer meetings to assess requirements and provide expert advice.
• Carry out detailed site surveys and measurements with accuracy.
• Manage the full sales cycle: from customer enquiry, product selection and quotation, to order confirmation and scheduling.
• Liaise with internal teams (manufacturing, installation, admin) to ensure smooth job progress.
• Handle customer issues or complaints with professionalism and care.
• Maintain an inviting and well-presented showroom experience for clients.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Contribute to team training and development.
• Proven experience in the doors/windows or home improvement industry.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of PVC and aluminium products and installation processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in site surveying and reading technical drawings.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Confident, energetic and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of relevant building regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with CRM or job management software.
