Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking Customer Team Members for a 24-hour weekly store operation across our local Co-op store. You will deliver friendly, helpful service, work on tills, in-store bakery, and support daily operations to keep shelves stocked and prices accurate.

This part-time role offers 24 hours per week with regular overtime, a London allowance, and full training. You’ll need flexibility across opening, middle and closing shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, help put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on the shop floor and tills, and in-store bakery, contributing to daily operations.
• Keep shelves stocked and check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure the store is safe and legal; monitor prices, dates and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
