Job summary

One Stop in Macclesfield is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same. You will support store operations by providing friendly customer service, stocking shelves, handling payments and keeping the store looking inviting.

As the customer is at the heart of our business, you’ll actively seek ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication and friendly interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer queries.
• Stock shelves and ensure the store looks inviting.
• Process payments accurately at the till.
• Assist with store operations and maintain shop floor standards.
• Support drivers and colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe store environment.
• Engage with customers to encourage feedback and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Clock in/out accurately at shift start/end.
