Job summary

Certas Energy is seeking a Retail Customer Service Assistant in Preston to deliver friendly, professional service at the till and help maintain store standards. The role involves processing transactions, stock replenishment, and supporting daily forecourt/store operations, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to licensing regulations and lone working requirements.

Responsibilities

Delivering friendly, professional and helpful customer service.
Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
Replenishing stock and maintaining high store presentation standards.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety and company procedures.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of both the forecourt and store.
Contributing to a safe, welcoming and efficient environment for customers and colleagues.
