Job summary

bp retail in Wallingford is hiring a temporary customer service assistant for an initial 6-week contract. You will join a fast-paced, customer-facing team and complete on-the-job training to develop the skills needed to serve customers and support bp's offers.

You will provide friendly, efficient service in the Wild Bean Café, handle deliveries, stock and cleaning duties, and contribute to a positive store environment from day one. Applicants from 16+ are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of customers, colleagues and yourself per bp policies.
• Serve customers efficiently and meet their needs promptly.

• Prepare and serve food and drink items from the Wild Bean Café.
• Take deliveries, replenish stock and manage stock tasks.
• Support bp offers, promotions and loyalty schemes.
• Carry out cleaning duties in store, facilities and forecourt.

• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively

• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and completing stock management tasks
• Being proactive in supporting bp’s offers, promotions and loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities and forecourt

This is an initial 6 week temporary contract. As a valued member of the bp retail team, you will receive full training and support to help you succeed in the role from day one.
