Job summary

bp retail is hiring for temporary Customer Service Assistants in Market Harborough. The role involves delivering friendly service in a fast-paced retail setting, operating the till, and supporting the Wild Bean Café offering. Training will be provided, and you will be part of a collaborative bp retail team.

You will handle stock, assist promotions and maintain store cleanliness, with a competitive pay rate and benefits. Applicants from 16+ are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to complete online and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of customers and colleagues in line with bp policies.
• Serve customers and operate the till.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food from Wild Bean Café.
• Stock management including deliveries, replenishment and stock rotation.
• Promote bp offers, promotions and loyalty scheme.
• Carry out cleaning duties in-store, facilities and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving our customers and operating the till
• Preparing and serving beverage and food items from our Wild Bean Café
• Stock management – from taking deliveries, to replenishing the store and stock rotation
• Being proactive with supporting bp’s many offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt.

Although this is a temporary role you will be a valued member of the bp retail team and will benefit from a competitive pay rate and great benefits.
